Unfortunately due to car trouble I did not get along to the Dalgety Bay Consultation event on 3 April. However, residents have been in touch with me about it asking what I am doing to support the community and their concerns.
By way of background, I organised a meeting in Dunfermline just before Christmas and a follow up meeting just a few weeks ago. The Community Council in Dalgety Bay also hosted an event on Monday evening and I believe the turn out and quality of questions was very good.
I have asked Council Officers in Environmental Protection and Transportation to review the latest proposals and to speak with neighbouring councils in West Lothian and Falkirk who have also been doing work in relation to environmental concerns.
Edinburgh Airport Watch (http://www.edinburghairportwatch.com) also has information that residents may find helpful. The consultation closes on 30 April so make sure you have your say.
