Inverkeithing Primary School Visit

Great to catch up with Inverkeithing Primary School Head Teacher Caroline Gardiner on a long overdue visit to the school.  I regularly attend the Parent Council meetings but it’s always helpful to hear first hand how things are going at the school and as a local councillor I want to make sure that the school and its staff are getting all the support they need.

The school has a very busy social calendar of events in the run up to Christmas and as well as a fun place to be, its also a very successful school performing to a high standard and serving our young people very well indeed.

There is a lovely feeling when you go to the school and today parents were popping in to see the Country Dancing.  This afternoon they were expecting a very special visit from Hibs football team who were coming along with the Scottish Cup – topic of the visit – perseverance – and what better example than Hibs achievement in winning the Scottish Cup for the first time in 114 years!
