Sir Keir Starmer MP is expected to speak to Fife businesses about Brexit concerns at an event in Lochore next week.
The Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union was invited to Fife by Lesley Laird MP at the request of Fife Chamber of Commerce.
The business breakfast event, to be held at the Willie Clarke Centre in Lochore Meadows on Tuesday morning, will see the MP for Holborn and St Pancras field direct questions from Fife firms.
Lesley said: “Businesses here in the Kingdom are naturally concerned about Brexit and what challenges it will throw at them
“What a post-Brexit world will look like isn’t clear currently but this event will afford a valuable opportunity for businesses to speak directly with a respected politician whose knowledge of Brexit policy will bring valuable insight.
“I’m delighted that Keir took up my invitation to come to Fife and listen to what local businesses have to say – and what they believe a government should be doing to help them.”
