The Fairer Fife Commission was set up by Council Leader, Cllr David Ross in September 2014. The Commission was totally independent of Fife Council and comprised senior figures who gave up their time for free to carry out a year long review into identifying the priorities areas for Fife Council in relation to tackling poverty and inequality.
The Report “Fairness Matters” was published with over 40 recommendations to deliver a “significantly fairer Fife by 2030”.
The Fife Partnership will now be reviewing the findings of the report with a view to responding in relation to future proposals and actions. More to follow.
